Notary services

The City Clerk’s Office offers notary services by appointment only, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at:

What documents cannot be notarized by the City Clerk's Office?

  • I-9 Employee Eligibility Verification Forms
  • Election documents such as petitions, affidavits, etc.
  • Mortgage / deed documents
  • Certify copies of birth, death, marriage or divorce certificates
  • Apostilles and Authentications (these are done by the Colorado Secretary of State's Office)

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

  • All the persons signing the document have to show up in person
    • The notary has to notarize all the signatures at the same time
  • All the persons signing the document have to show a valid identification like:
    • Government issued photo id card 
    • Passport
  • Bring all the witnesses your document needs.
    • The City cannot provide witnesses. 

How much do I have to pay for Notary services?

The first three stamps are free, additional stamps may incur a fee of $6.00 per stamp.

We reserve the right to refuse to provide notary services with cause.
