The City offers a Business Assistance Program (BAP) to ensure Louisville maintains a competitive and vibrant economic climate. The BAP offers rebates, approved by the City Council, for those businesses locating or expanding within Louisville. 

What is this program?

The City of Louisville’s Business Assistance Program (BAP) helps businesses relocate, expand, or invest in Louisville, Colorado through City-approved rebates and incentives. The goal is to support a competitive, vibrant local economy.

    • $1 per leased square foot

    • Up to $100,000

Eligibility requirements

Applicants must:

  • Apply before signing a lease or purchasing property
  • Be registered with the Colorado Secretary of State
  • Be current on City payments and filings
  • Obtain a Louisville sales tax license (if applicable)
  • Complete an Assistance Agreement before approval

Applications requesting more than $50,000 in rebates must meet with City tax staff prior to approval.

  • Recommend incentive options
  • Guide applicants through approval
