ADA Accessibility

• There is an ADA accessible ramp at the Library Main Entrance plaza on the southeast side of the building.
• The Library’s 1st floor Meeting Room, which hosts special events, programs, City and community meetings, etc., is accessible via a ramp at the northwest side of the building or from the interior of the building during regular library hours.
  • Please note: the exterior entrance to the Library 1st floor Meeting Room may not be used to access public library areas during regular business hours and should only be utilized if attending an event or program in that space.

Driving Directions to the Louisville Library

from Boulder

1. Drive east on South Boulder Road
2. Turn right (south) on Main Street (just before the railroad tracks)
3. Turn left (east) on Spruce Street (after Walnut)
4. Library is on the left, at the end of the block—951 Spruce Street

from Longmont     

1. Drive south on 95th Street which becomes Highway 42 at Louisville
2. Continue past intersection with South Boulder Road
3. At next light, turn right onto Pine Street
4. Take first right onto Front Street—the Library is on the left, at the northwest corner of Spruce and Front

from Denver     

1. Take I-25 north to Hwy. 36 to Boulder.
2. Take the Storage Tek Drive/Interlocken Loop exit onto Storage Tek Drive (to the right) for about ½ mile.
3. Turn left onto 96th Street and continue on that road for about 2 miles.
4. Turn left at a traffic light onto Pine Street.
5. Take first right onto Front Street.
6. Go one block to Spruce—the Library is at the northwest corner of Spruce and Front.

Parking

• There is street parking around the building and in a lot across from the Library on Front Street.
• There is a surface lot on the north side of the Library and a municipal parking garage underneath the building.
  • The ramp to underground parking is located at the northwest corner of the building, accessible from the surface lot.

Some parking spaces have two-hour limits. 

ADA Accessible Parking

• There is one accessible parking space available in the Library's surface lot on the northeast side of the Library.
• There are three accessible parking spaces available in the parking garage underneath the Library, with access via an elevator located adjacent to these spaces.
  
  • The elevator is also accessible from the Library Main Entrance plaza on the southeast side of the building.
