Get a library card
To access the Library’s full collection, place holds, and pick up materials, you will need a Louisville Public Library card. Visit our Circulation Desk with a photo ID and proof of address* to get a library card.
If you are unable to come into the library, you can request a card by contacting us at 303-335-4819.
*All residents of Colorado may get a Louisville Public Library card.
Get an eCard
If the Library is closed and you would like immediate access to online information, eBooks, and classes, sign up online for an eCard! Louisville Public Library eCards provide temporary (60 days), non-renewable access to our digital materials until you can visit the library to get your library card.
Library Card Privileges

Note: Library cards are also accepted within the following consortium libraries: Boulder Library District, Clearview Library District, Broomfield (Mamie Doud), Lafayette, Longmont, and Loveland.
